My Exam Results Are Out!

Hey everyone! I haven't been blogging for quite some time because I don't really have anything to blog about. Anyway, I just got my final exam results today. My school sent the results to everybody and guess what I got? An average 15th position in class. Haiz... =( I was expecting to get at least 5th and below but I failed my Seni and that pulled me down to 15th. I only got 36-E for Seni and altogether I got 4A, 5B, 2C and 1E. My total marks was 790 out of 1100 and my average was only 71.82. I guess my expectations were to high for the exam. I will just try to work harder for all my upcoming exams. Anyway, that's all for now. Bye.

Just A Silver Lining

So near yet so far. After Lee Chong Wei won his semi final match against S.Korea's Lee Hyun Il 21-18, 13-21, 21-13 on Friday, he was going to play against Lin Dan in the final. The whole nation was hoping for Chong Wei to win the first olympics gold medal for Malaysia. But during the final, he lost to China's Lin Dan 21-12, 21-8. He looked out of sorts and was feeling the pressure. I think he lost on mental, speed and strength to Lin Dan. It was Chong Wei's worst defeat by Lin Dan. Although he did not win the gold medal, he is still the country's hero. He bettered Rashid Sidek's record by winning the first badminton singles silver medal. Rashid Sidek got the bronze in 1992 or 1996 (I forgotten the year). After 50 over years competing in the olympics, an elusive olympics gold medal is still far from getting.

Chong Wei

From L to R: Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Chen Jin

I hope Malaysia will fare better in the London Olympics 2012 than this olympics and hopefully they can get a gold.

The Olympics Opening Ceremony

I watched the Olympics opening ceremony and it was spectacular! It was the best opening ceremony in the olympic history and there was about 30000 fireworks altogether. Anyway, I watched the opening ceremony with my cell members. It was fun and we had loads of food to eat. Besides that, I hope Malaysia can finally land an elusive gold medal with high hopes from the badminton players. Malaysia Boleh!! Now I will be spending most of my time watching the olympics. Plus, with the English Premier League resuming next weekend, I don't really know what programs to watch. Futhermore, Manchester United will take on Portsmouth in the Community Shield tonight, live on Star Sports at 10pm. Hope Manu can win. :)

Report Card Day

It was report card day today! I went to collect my report card at about 9.00a.m. and guess what? I got no.5 in my class. Well, only the position is good but my total marks is only 759/1100 and my average is only 69.00. BM and Mandarin were the subjects that pulled me down. I got 49-D for my BM and 47-D for my Mandarin. =( :( I hope I can get better results in my final exam that is in October.

Anyway I decided to blog about this although it finish a few days back. Its the Wimbledon tennis Grand Slam I'am talking about. Rafael Nadal was the champion for the men singles -- a double joy for Spain after they won the EURO 2008. Nadal defeated the 5-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-7 (8-10), 9-7 in was what the longest Wimbledon final match ever played. If I am not mistaken, it lasted for about 5-6 hours due to the rain at the starting and in the middle of the match. Both of the players could make history if they won this title - For Federer, if he wins this he will better Bjorn Borg's record of 5 straight Wimbledon titles by winning his 6th. As for Nadal, he could be the third man to win the Roland Garros (French Open) and the Wimbledon together in one season after Rod Laver and John McEnroe if I am not mistaken and Nadal could the only spanish man to win the Wimbledon title since 1964. I think. (can't really remember the details). Futhermore, in the women singles final, it was defending champion Venus Williams up against her younger sister and 2-time Wimbledon champion, Serena Williams. Well Venus beat Serena 7-5, 6-4 to take the women singles title. I will put in some pictures about the Wimbledon later.

The EURO Champs- Spain

Working on my Geografi project now. I hate projects!! And by the way, Spain won the EURO 2008. Yay!! Spain ROXX!! The game was scoreless at first until Torres broke the deadlock by a strike on the 33rd minute. The game was mostly dominated by Spain. Didn't know why Germany was so lousy on the final... they only got one shot on goal and Spain got about 10+. ^^

Besides that, there is also the tennis Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament now. The tournament had dozens of upsets especially with the fall of men singles 3rd seed Novak Djokovic and 6th seed Andy Roddick and women singles top seed Ana Ivanovic, 2nd seed Jelena Jankovic and 3rd seed Maria Sharapova and lots more... I will support 2nd seed Rafael Nadal (Spain) for the men singles and Zheng Jie (China), world ranked 133rd and the suprise semi-finalist for the women singles. I hope there will be lots more excitement in this tournament that will end on Sunday. :-)

Futhermore, the Beijing Olimpics is just about a month away. Can't wait for it. Hope Malaysia can finally bag a gold medal in the Olimpics. :):)

A Rainy Day

Sorry everyone for not blogging for quite some time. Just enjoy and read this new post.

A rainy day again... After my St.John unit beruniform class, I expected the weather to be good by instead it was raining. I wanted to play badminton with my friends so I went to play for a while but later the rain got heavier so I decided not to play. Then, when the rain was getting smaller, like drizzling, and we went to play again. After the rain stopped for a while, we decided not to play any more so I went to buy a cup of drink. When I was drinking, it started to drizzle again. When I was going to walk back, it started to rain again. And when I reached home I was quite wet. I hope I dont fall sick after this because I have a lot of upcoming events like the cell board games mania, my St.John exam and my birthday this Saturday. Last week during the badminton time, it was blazing hot and this week it was raining. I hope the weather will be good next week during the badminton time.

By the way, the Indonesian Open badminton tournament started on Tuesday. Not all the top players will be going to compete but there will also be some. I hope that it will be as exciting as the Singapore Open last week. Hope the Malaysian players can win. Cheers... Astro will be showing live of the semi finals and the finals this Saturday and Sunday respectively. I hope I can catch it live. Thats all for now...... :)

Movie Night

Yesterday I went out with my cell members. We first gathered outside the gsc cinema, then we watched the Superheroes movie. The movie was very funny but very short. It was only about 1hr and 10 mins and the movie follow a lot of Spider Man 1 parts. Then, we went to a Hong Kong restaurant ( I forgotten the name... hehe). We went there about 8.40pm and we only ordered our food at 9.15pm. We ate and chatted until almost 10.30. The food there was quite delicious. By the time we finish, it was already 10.45pm and I reached home at alomst 11.00pm.

To cell members - I am not going to the Board Games Mania next Friday because I will have a tuition replacement class and I have no transport because my parents are in out station.
